I have my latest book-on-CD in my scrapbook room and I've been doing some multi-tasking. I have missed scrapbooking...

And now on random, surprisingly related segue, I now present the final song on MTV's Unplugged w/ Nirvana.

My book-on-CD (mentioned above) is called Love is a Mix Tape and in the part I'm in, the author is talking about Kurt Cobain and how he was the only rocker out there writing about being a husband (for good or bad. The author is a young widower). It reminded me of the one Nirvana album, MTV Unplugged in New York, I own. Anyway, this is a powerful Nirvana moment and I love how Kurt looks out at the audience right before the last phrase. Piercing blue eyes. I still remember finding out from my friends Chad and Austin that Cobain had died. Much to all our surprise, I burst into tears. He died 5 months after this performance.

Bryce, it's time for you to get a big boy bed.

You hate being in your crib. You share a room with your big brother who just started school so I'm not going to let you scream.

You don't sleep well in my bed. Last night, after I got you some milk (since you would eat nothing but applesauce for dinner and were hungry) I left you next to Daddy and did this:

At least I accomplished something. Sleep wasn't going to happen.
After I was sure you were asleep, I put you back in your crib and lay there in the dark, begging sleep to come.
I'm tired.

I am so grateful for my friendship with Anisa. There is so much she does for me and I definitely wouldn't be as far along with my scrapbooking if it weren't for our scrap days.
Thankfully, her new house is actually closer to ours than where she used to live.

Saturday night was the last time I will scrapbook at our Pine Grove Way house. This Sunday will be our last Sunday at our ward. This is our last full week living here. Last time to prune just one rose bush (I love roses and our new house has several rose bushes). Last time to stroll around our back yard. Last time to bake goodies in my gas oven. Last drink from my Superior water filter. Last good-night to kids here. Last sleep in a house that I have loved, that I have laughed and cried in, a house that is filled with a comforting spirit.
I'll miss the old girl, except she's not even middle aged yet. Too bad the house doesn't grow along with the kids.

Anisa and I did our scrapbooking thing today. Creative juices were flowing, plus I had a lot of great photos and stories to work with!

All day crop* with my bf Anisa. We go to her house where the kids have a great time. Ella says that Anisa's house is where we watch lots and lots of movies! It may seem like it, but really, it's not true!

Anyway, I just thought I'd toss some of my work from yesterday onto here, plus one I did earlier.
