I miss writing.
I was doing so much for awhile...poetry, fiction, blogging...
Then I just stepped away. It's just my way, I suppose.

Anyway, I've missed my little blog here and the record it is of my family life. I've decided to take the time to write a lot more and by doing it here that somehow keeps me accountable for it.

I was inspired to write today because of someone writing to me. I married into a wonderful family. My in-laws have been so loving, gracious and accepting of me. I've never not felt like a Stringham. When we were engaged, I got to know a few of Cameron's cousins who were attending school in Utah and Cameron's mom would provide a delicious Sunday dinner for everyone.
Becca, seen here with Cam and me, is one of those wonderful cousins and we've been able to stay in contact over the years.

Today I got a letter (and actual letter with a stamp!) from her. It was a card with a picture of her cute kiddos. Why? Just to let me know she was thinking about me.

A hand-written note may not be big as trends go, but the feeling of getting one will certainly never go out of style. I let things hold me back on doing this myself. Stupid things like "I haven't hand-made any cards yet."

Dumb. Sticky notes would probably work just as well.

If I took the time to write a note to someone every time I was truly thinking about them I am sure the world would be a happier place and I'd feel less disconnected to the world at large.

So thank you, Becca, (I know you're out there) you really made my day!

My sister rocks...with moon rocks. Grandma Cindy wanted to take the grandkids to the Clark Planetarium to see Space Pirates. In the interm, I hung out with my little sis and (mostly) sleeping Zealand.

The kids loved the movie and had a great time together.
Bryce with the shot I know you've all had with your kids...
Ella and Addy Later, at the food court...

We went in the evening and it was a late bedtime but sometimes Cousin Time is worth it. The kids, at least, slept soundly through the night.

Hey Howdy Hey!
It's a Stringham Easter Pictorial

Lining up...someone shout GO already! We have Easter egg hunting at my aunt Jone's each year.
Lots of fun!
And Zealand made it to town (just the night before. This all happened before my previous post) and he brought my sister with him!
Confession time.
I have never, ever colored eggs with my children.
Thanks Mom!
My wonderful nephew
My sweet niece More painting. Bryce loved it!
More Pokemon cards? Seriously?

A truly wonderful weekend! We loved conference and crepes for breakfast on Sunday cannot be beat. We spent Sunday evening with Cam's parents and his sister's family.

Kelly, I'd still like a copy of that pic of us! Thanks!

My mom wanted to get professional pictures of my and Ryan's kids together (she even made those fun jammies) and here they are. (sharing permission granted by Portrait Innovations)

These were all put on a disc and don't have the finished, professional cropping and all, but it's nice to have them.
And the outtakes...

I've always been grateful to get hand-me-downs from my little sister. She's much more stylish than I am and (for awhile at least) my mom was buying a lot of her clothes.

Well now, I am the happy recipient of hand-me-downs from my cousins, in their mid and late teens. It's kind of funny really. I have held then and changed their diapers and now I'm wearing their jeans...

and they are so comfortable

and they fit so well.

Although you probably didn't think that they'd make there way to me, I wanted to tell you two thanks!
