I'm going to have to take you back to Thursday because our computer has been testy.

After hearing that our dear cousin, Becca had lost her dad we decided to head down for his funeral on Friday afternoon to Las Vegas to be with her and see our family. Despite the sad circumstances, it was wonderful to see those we love and feel the strength that comes from family. It was nice to see Becca's kids, ages 2, 4 & 5 since we hadn't seen Becca since she was pregnant with her first. The funeral was a tender tribute and we're glad we went.
Ella graduated from (her first year of) Love to Learn preschool! Alas, the cruel Fates have left her in kindergarten deadline dust just because of 21 little days..but she's very excited to have her preschool teacher back in the fall.

We made it home exhausted, but safe. Had a fairly normal Sunday and we were SO grateful for an extra day to week-end it. We ate crepes for breakfast and had a yummy barbeque with Grandpa Ron that evening and I made Turtles cheesecake. YUM!
