Big, deep sigh...I took Ella over to our neighborhood preschool (not my day!) yesterday, then shortly after our return home, Bryce fell asleep effortlessly in my arms.
I was reading a new book and just got to keep reading. The next thing I knew, a sweetly peaceful hour had passed with no more sound than my turning pages. I even ate an early lunch that was still warm when I took the first bite!
I haven't been alone for A RIDICULOUSLY LONG TIME! YIKES! My pleasure in this short time was almost palatable. Delicious! Must do this again sometime! I think my schedule will allow for it around the first week of October. Ah, I look forward to that... [author smiles contentedly to herself]
