What we've done with our summer...the school's out version

The kids slept over at Grandma Cindy's house the last day of school and Cam and I hung out with his childhood friend Kerry and his family. We each had our separate fun.
The next day we went up to Hobble Creek Canyon to celebrate my little cousin's birthday. It's always so relaxing up here.

Dane had a great time on this swing that sails over the river. Unfortunately, within the hour he fell from it and landed a good sized gash under his chin. He took it pretty bravely, but he was pretty embarrassed about it at church the next day.

Sunday evening we got to go to Cameron's uncle's home and visit with family there.

It was one of those weekends that let you just heave a big long sigh... Ahhhhhhhh
