It can nearly drive you crazy how much "love" your older kids give the new baby in the family. They smother him, not with hugs, but literally, thinking it's OK to lay on the baby! When they do hug him, it's really to compel him to follow their latest whim. Don't even get me started on the rule of not picking up the baby...
Well anyway, Bryce has learned to give love back now and seriously, he learned it all by himself. Weeks ago he taught himself how to 'blow kisses.' I encouraged it, gave it a label, but he didn't do much with it until now. While holding Bryce I said to him: say 'I love you, Ella' and he blew her a kiss! Forever a sweet memory. He's starting to do it more. I love it.
